Our Story

Built for the work no UK founder
should be doing themselves.

Ant Assist started from a simple observation: UK business owners were spending most of their week on operational work — replying to emails, chasing leads, processing orders, managing calendars — instead of running and growing their businesses. Hiring locally for that work was expensive and slow. Hiring offshore freelancers was cheap but unmanaged, with quality and continuity falling on the business owner.

We built a third option. A managed service where UK businesses get a dedicated virtual assistant from our Cairo office, with the supervision, training, and continuity cover handled by us — not them.

Today we operate as AAVA Group Ltd, a UK-registered company (Company No. 15325330) with our delivery team based in Cairo, Egypt. We focus exclusively on UK clients because the model works best when there's a tight alignment of language, working hours, and business culture — and Cairo is structurally well-suited to all three.

Managed, not placed.

Most VA services are marketplaces — you find a freelancer, you hire them, you manage them, and if they leave you start over. We're different. Here's what that means in practice.

We supervise the work

Every VA is supervised day-to-day by our Cairo team leads and UK management. Performance reviews, quality control, and corrective training are our responsibility, not yours. You manage outcomes; we manage delivery.

Vetted to UK working standards

Every VA is trained in UK communication norms, business etiquette, and the specific tools and workflows our clients use. They start work already aligned to how UK businesses operate.

Replacement is on us

If a VA isn't working out, we replace them. No recruitment fee, no restart-from-zero, no continuity gap. We absorb the cost — that's the point of a managed service.

One simple hourly rate

No employer National Insurance. No pension contributions. No statutory leave administration. No recruitment markup. The hourly rate is the all-in cost, invoiced monthly.
